Steven Gerrard
Steven Gerrard was born on May 30, 1980 in Whiston, Merseyside, England. He started his professional football career in Liverpool. For the most part of his career, he played in this team and served as a captain. After that he was transferred from the MLS teams to the Los Angeles Galaxy, leaving football here. Finally he played his last game against Liverpool on May 24, 2015 against Stoke City, who lost 6-1, and scored his last goal in Liverpool in this match.

Steven Gerrard, On November 29, 1998, he won his first professional match with Liverpool against 2-0 against Blackburn Rovers. Gerrard scored the last goal of the Champions League in the Basel match, in which Liverpool was eliminated from the Champions League. This goal is also Gerrard’s 100th goal in Anfield. Gerrard left the team in 2016 after his contract ended after playing 1.5 seasons on the Los Angelas Galaxy team. On November 24, 2016, he announced that he had finished his footballing career.

Gerrard played his first national game against Ukraine on May 31, 2000. In September 2001, he scored his first international goal in the famous World Cup 5-1 victory against Germany in the 2002 World Cup qualifiers. He participated in the first World Cup in 2006 and scored two goals in the group stage against Trinidad&Tobago and Sweden. Gerrard helped Britain participate in the 2010 World Cup and scored two goals in England’s 5-1 victory over Croatia. Gerrard was the most experienced player in the squad, when the English team went to the 2010 World Cup,with 80 games. However, in the 2010 FIFA World Cup preparations, Rio Ferdinand was injured, which was commissioned by Gerrard’s Coach Capello. After the tournament, Gerrard managed to stay in the team, although the coach wanted to create a new “Golden Generation”.
From 2000 to 2014, he scored 21 goals in 114 matches in the national team and after thar he left the national team.
