With Full name David Andrew Seaman. He was born on September 19, 1969 in Rotherham.
Professional career of Seaman, one of the legendary goalkeepers of England, lasted 22 years.
Seaman has achieved many successes throughout his career.

Club Career

David Seaman ‘s career started in the country of his birth. in 1982, he started his professional career in Peterborough. After that working here for 2 years, he was transferred to Birmingham City and 2 years later to Queens Park Rangers. 4 years after in Queens Park Rangers, he went to Arsenal to become a legend. He worked as a goalkeeper for 13 years in Arsenal and he played in 405 matches. Arsenal supporter and all the British loved him. After Arsenal, she transferred to another  British club, Manchester City. This was the last club he was transferred to. He played only one year in Manchester City.

David Seaman Arsenal was transferred at a high price. In the 1990-1991 season, saw Seaman  concede only 18 goals in 38 matches. He won both the FA Cup and the League Cup at Arsenal in 1993, and a year later he won the European Cup Winners’ Cup. In 2000, he did not saw goal from Galatasaray during the UEFA cup final but After 0-0 draw, he was defeated in the penalties. His last major success was to win the FA cup, which was his eighth cup in Arsenal in 2002. He became the second best goalkeeper of all time for Arsenal.

International Career

David Seaman On November 16, 1988, wore the national jersey for the first time in the Saudi Arabia-England match. He was the first goalkeeper in the national team for 14 years. He also served as a captain in 75 national matches. Euro 96 sponsor Philips named him “Player of the Tournament”. The goal-post head joined FIFA 1998 and FIFA 2002 with the UK national team. David Seaman become legend after the Argentina match at FIFA 98. However At the 2002 Fifa World Cup, after Ronaldinho’s long-distance goal, his performance fell. İn Euro 2004 qualifying, the Macedonian match destroyed her national team career. Artim Sakiri’s goal from the corner kick destroyed him.

Retired

David Seaman was injured while playing for Manchester City on January 13, 2004. In conclusion  His career ended after this misfortune.
