Notes – Iconic Diadora home shirt as worn by Italy and Baggio when the nation hosted the 1990 World Cup and reached the Semi-Finals, losing on penalties to Maradona’s Argentina in Naples. Despite being overlooked and replaced by Vialli on occasion early on during the tournament, he soon became one of the stars of the edition. His magnificent goal against Czechoslovakia in Rome was the perfect tonic to the idolizing Azzuri crowd – and a sign of things to come. Four years later the Venetian was instrumental in Italy’s run to the final as he sealed his place as one of the all-time greats, leaving nothing but tears, magic, memories and true inspiration
